COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENT: Mini Golf at Willows Run
Join us for a Year-End Mini Golf Celebration!
To mark the end of the school year, we’re inviting families to gather at Willows Run in Redmond for an afternoon of mini golf and fun! After school wraps up on Wednesday, June 18, at 12:30 pm, we'll head over to the course to celebrate together. We hope you can join us for this joyful community tradition!
Summer camp: Week 1 | June 23–27 🌱🌍 Eco-Explorers: Tiny Earthkeepers
A nature-based camp where children discover sustainable living, explore composting, permaculture, and seed planting, and create upcycled art projects. They learn how to care for the planet through hands-on activities like worm composting, nature scavenger hunts, and sensory garden play.
Summer camp: Week 2 | June 30–July 3 📚🔬 Storybook STEM Adventure
This camp combines literature with STEM exploration—each day features a beloved story (The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, etc.) followed by hands-on science and engineering challenges like building bridges, exploring life cycles, and experimenting with color-changing potions.
Summer camp: Week 3 | July 7–11 🔧🎨 Mini Makers: Tinkering & Invention Lab
Inspired by the maker movement, children explore engineering, creativity, and problem-solving by using loose parts, recycled materials, and basic tools to build their own gadgets, toys, and simple machines.
Summer camp: Week 4 | July 14–18🧚♂️🔬 Enchanted Forest & Fairytale Science
A magical mix of storybook adventures and hands-on science, where kids explore fairytales through fun experiments—building beanstalk trellises, testing temperature for Goldilocks, and making dragon-breath potions.
Summer camp: Week 5 | July 21–25 🌍✈️ Global Explorers: Around the World in 5 Days
Each day, children "travel" to a new country, immersing themselves in music, language, food, and crafts from places like Japan, Kenya, Peru, and France. Activities include origami, drumming, cooking, and cultural storytelling.
Summer camp: Week 6 | July 28–August 1 🔍🕵️ Mystery Detectives: Clues, Codes & Secret Missions
A thrilling problem-solving adventure where children become detectives, cracking codes, solving riddles, and completing scavenger hunts to unlock daily mysteries.
Summer camp: Week 7 | August 4–8🐠🌊 Ocean Odyssey: Little Marine Biologists
A marine science and water exploration camp where kids investigate ocean life through tide pool touch tanks, saltwater experiments, and sea creature crafts.
Summer camp: Week 8 | August 11–15🎶📖 Musical Storytelling & Sound Explorations
A creative music and literacy fusion camp, where kids explore storytelling through instruments, sound effects, movement, and rhythm.


Moving Up Ceremony
A celebration for those moving on from La Maternelle, L’Élémentaire and La Grande Élémentaire. Time TBD.


Community Building event: Paint & Sip
Come join us for a fun and creative paint-and-sip community event!

Multi-cultural Day
Parents are invited to share their different cultures with the students.

Memorial Day – No School
A day to honor military personnel who have died while serving in the US Armed Forces


Learning Journey (Maternelle 1,2 & 3 and Elémentaire 1 & 2)
The children will enjoy a private one-hour Harbour Tour with Argosy Cruises


Farine pop-up
Farine, our bakery partner, will hold their pop-up store, and you will be able to order bread and croissants to bring back home.


“Kemence” Performance (only students)
A friend of one of our families will be coming to school to play the Kemenche, a traditional Eastern European instrument.

Holi Celebration (only students)
Let’s celebrate Holi, the Festival of colors, Love and Spring!

Community Building Event: Gardening Workshop
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of gardening with your family! We will explore the art of growing and cultivating plants.

Learning Journey St. Edward State Park (Maternelle 1,2, & 3 ) 9:30 AM
The children will go to St. Edward State Park for a guided hike combined with an outdoor educational activity.

Spring Break Camp
Regular school may be closed, but we’re still open for a fun camp! Space is limited; registration required.

Bonnes vacances ! There’s no school, but you can sign up for Spring Break Camp! Pre-registration required.

IslandWood Overnight Camp (Gde Elem.)
Overnight Nature Camp at IslandWood on BainBridge Island for a unique experience for Grande Elémentaire students.

French Fest
Les Lilas will be participating in the French Fest taking place at Seattle Armory! Save the date!

Admissions Café & Farine Pop-up
Come at Les Lilas to get to know us and ask all your questions with some coffee and croissants!

Learning Journey UW Biology Greenhouse (Elémentaires and Gde. Elémentaire)
The children will visit the UW Biology Greenhouse and will get the opportunity to explore a diverse array of plant species from around the world.

Learning Journey Kirkland Library (Maternelles)
The children will enjoy an exciting trip to the Kirkland Library, on Friday 2/21 at 10 AM
They will take a guided tour of the library, watch the fascinating book-sorting machine in action and Conclude with a short story read by the library staff.
