CYRILLE GOSSELIN
Music Teacher

Cyrille Gosselin was born and raised in France and has lived in the United States since the year 2000. He founded and manages his own music school, Goss Productions Music School, where he records music and teaches guitar, ukulele, bass, and piano. He has been teaching music since 1994 and is very happy to bring his experience to Les Lilas.

He graduated from University of Francois Rabelais in Tours, France, where he studied choir conducting, music theory, harmony, and ethnomusicology that opened his ears to music from all over the world. He also studied jazz guitar and harmony at Jazz à Tours with Thierry Vaillot. This experience gave him the tools to teach music and create music ensembles. He has also learned to adapt and improvise with different groups of students. He is fair but very demanding, as he believes hard work leads to great music.

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE A NAME FOR YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would choose Gérard. In light of the lives of the French actors Gérard Darmon and Gérard Depardieu, I believe Gérard is a name that represents benevolence, kindness, humor, intelligence of a few words, restraint without shyness, and love of food, wine, and life.
