Emily is new to the Pacific Northwest, having recently moved from Texas. She brings more than five years of hands-on classroom experience, including teaching pre-kindergarten and working in a Waldorf education setting. Her educational background is in elementary and special education. As an educator, Emily is passionate about creating a nurturing classroom environment where children feel encouraged to explore their creativity, develop a love of learning, and connect meaningfully with the world around them.

Outside the classroom, Emily loves spending time with friends and family, painting, reading, dancing, and cooking. She is excited to get to know her new students and families and looks forward to becoming part of the Les Lilas community!
