Originally from Switzerland, Magali Smolik moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to continue her studies and earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. She gained valuable experience in operations and event planning while working at prestigious private clubs and five-star hotels, developing strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

Her passion for language and education led her to start her own business in 2016 teaching French to students of all ages. She found it especially rewarding to witness her student's progress and enthusiasm for learning. 

In 2021, Magali and her family relocated to the Pacific Northwest. She has three children who are all attending Les Lilas.  Outside of the classroom, she enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening and baking. She is excited to join the team as an assistant teacher and contribute to the vibrant bilingual community.
